Miami Beach, FL – April 10, 2014 – Ariel Burman hosted an evening soirée of fashion, fun and cocktails as New York Designer Michael Bastian presented his Spring-Summer 2014 Collection to a well-heeled Miami meets Manhattan crowd in Burman’s chic menswear boutique, Cottage Miami. Italian Vogue – GQ photographer Greg Lotus showcased a dozen works from his stunning collection of fashion-art photographs during the evening. Notables that were on hand for the celebration include Eugenia Gonzalez, Brazilian model Juliana Rudell, Univision’s Fashion Expert Rodner Figueroa, Jared Cook of the St. Louis Rams, Italian footballer Massimo Brambati, Miami Heat’s own in-house announcer Dale McLean, Vincentian soca artist Kevin Lyttle, among many others. Attendees enjoyed cocktails by Grey Goose while perusing Mr. Bastian’s exciting new collection, ranging from striped oxford shirts with secret messages printed underneath the collars to luxurious light weight cashmere sweaters perfect for an evening walk on the beach. Guests departed with special gifts from Michael Bastian, Havaianas, Terrapin Stationers, and Alice Smith’s latest CD release She. The evening was produced by Michael Leondas Kirkland for mkarte.

It was really fun to hang out at Cottage Miami for a couple of days. I love the vibe of this store–it seems to be filling an essential void for cool menswear in a cool environment in Miami. Ariel Burman has a great eye.
