Miami Beach, FL – April 10, 2014 –  Last night, over 300 guests gathered at W South Beach Hotel & Residences for the Miami Beach Gay Pride VIP Kick-Off Reception. Hosted by Bravo’s “Real Housewives of Miami” star Lea Black and drag diva Miss Elaine Lancaster, the chic soirée honored community leader Cindy Brown, original Miami Beach Gay Pride executive director. The evening included appearances by Grand Marshal Gloria Estefan and the festival’s board of directors. Guests spent the night enjoying a live cabaret-style performance by the singers from Cabaret South Beach along with signature libations by Pinnacle Vodka, Herradura Tequila, Pop Champagne and 10 Cane Rum. The red carpet event served as the kick-off to Miami Beach Gay Pride, which takes place on Sunday, April 13. The mission of Miami Beach Gay Pride is to bring together members and allies of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community in celebration of the unique spirit and culture of the LGBT community.
