Coral Gables, FL – April 3, 2014 – Shoppers and fashionistas united as Gucci brought the craftsmanship of the House’s Florentine leather goods factory directly to its clientele at the Coral Gables store, allowing guests to view skilled artisans assembling some of its most iconic handbags. The Gucci artisans focused on assembling the House’s signature Bamboo Shopper, Bamboo Fringe Shopper and New Jackie. The hand-crafted products were offered in exotic skins and exclusive colors and at request were personalized with hand-embossed monogramming. The Artisan Corner display included custom work tables, a sewing machine, a leather stand as well as additional background materials which illustrated the evolution of the products, from mood board to sketches.
