Miami Beach, FL – February 26, 2011 – Ever wonder what the biggest food stars, chefs and celebrities eat and drink while on vacation in paradise? The Best Thing I Ever Ate at the Beach, was a night that showcased favorite culinary dishes and cocktails found near the shorelines from all over the United States. Food Network’s Ace of Cakes host Duff Goldman played Master of Ceremonies as Food Network and Cooking Channel talent including Anne Burrell, Sunny Anderson, Scott Conant, and Chuck Hughes joined special celebrity guests to showcase the chefs, mixologists and spectacular dishes that have captured their hearts and want them coming back for more. Miami icons also presented their favorite guilty pleasures from the beaches of South Florida. Even Festival Founder Lee Brian Schrager featured his favorite eatery on the beach, Epicure Gourmet Market. Local funk legends and Grammy Award winners KC and the Sunshine Band helped guests Shake their Booty at this late night affair on the sand in front of the Ritz-Carlton, South Beach to celebrate The Festival’s 10th Anniversary into the wee hours of the night. Champagne was served complimentary of Pommery POP and specialty cocktails that melted guests troubles away.
