Miami, FL – March 28, 2014 – Some wait all year for that moment to finally arrive when they can let loose, put on their wildest attire, and head to a weekend filled with lights, action, and of course the sounds from dozens of their favorite DJs. Day one of the 2014 Ultra Music Festival kept the bass blaring with some incredible talents on Friday. After a week filled with anticipation, the gates opened at 5pm and thousands of ravers flooded into Downtown Miami’s Bayfront Park to see their favorite names in the game. World Red Eye didn’t miss a beat of the action as we were the official house photographer of UMF for the 16th year in a row. The photos from day one allow us to get an extra close look at the backstage, Main Stage, and into the exclusive Lavo • Tao • Marquee VIP lounge where all the DJs and who’s who of the music industry hung out and sipped on some ice cold Heineken for the evening.

Diplo got the party started as he took the Main Stage and was quickly joined by Waka Flocka, Riff Raff, and Sean Paul. They shelled out a high energy set, feeding off the pulse that was pounding throughout the huge crowd ready to insane. Luciano brought the Cadenza sound to the Carl Cox tent, sending the crowd into a musical euphoria. For the night’s closing sets, Kaskade and Tiesto took over Main Stage and banged out some serious dance your face off music. Big names in the entertainment world like Paris Hilton and Nina Agdal posted up in the Lavo • Tao • Marquee VIP Lounge to watch all the action go down while enjoying the lavish amenities. After the gates closed at midnight, ravers and DJs headed out to a number of Miami’s nightclub hotspots to continue the party.
