Miami, FL – March 20, 2014 – On Thursday evening, the JW Marriott Marquis hosted a private event with some of the world’s best tennis players on their 19th floor pool deck. The tennis players in attendance included David Ferrer (ranked no. 4 in the ATP), Nicolas Almagro (ranked world no. 17 on the ATP), Angelique Kerber (ranked world no. 6 in the WTP), and Stan Wawrinka (ranked world no. 3 in the ATP).  Guests enjoyed appetizers and cocktails, watched the players mix some beats onstage with Miami local DJ Michael Starysz, and posed for pictures with their favorite tennis stars. Rumor has it that 20 of the top Sony Open players are staying at the hotel and practicing on the indoor tennis court, which is the only hotel in the city with a Sony Open surface court!
