Art of Rum Series at Swine
Miami, FL – March 18, 2014 – On Tuesday evening, the Facundo Rum Collection presented the first in its Art of Rum Series, a curated program creating the ultimate degustation. 50 of Miami’s elite gathered at Swine Southern Table and Bar to enjoy an original four-course meal specially prepared by Executive Chef Phillip Bryant. Guests began the evening sipping on cocktails created exclusively for the Facundo Rum Collection by Swine’s head mixologist, including a Neo Kokomo Moonlight, Neo Old Fashioned and Eximo Old Fashioned. Brand Master David Cid later led the intimate crowd, including Ricky Arriola, Alfredo Gonzalez and Michele Addison, through an exquisite pairing of the collection’s four master marques – Neo, Eximo, Exquisito and Paraiso – while they dined on a custom menu of shrimp and heirloom tomato salad, steamed Virginia clams, slow smoked brisket steak and wood-grilled pork loin. The memorable experience concluded with a tasting of Paraiso, the 23-year aged ultimate sipping rum featuring a unique blend of the finest and most distinguished rums in the private Bacardi Family Reserves, complemented by dark chocolate toast with almond bread pudding, smoked citrus and vanilla bean ice cream.
