Homestead, FL – March 5, 2014 – It was all about the need for speed yesterday afternoon as Cadillac invited players from the World Golf Championships-Cadillac Championship field to test their driving prowess for a Cadillac V-Series competition. Players flew in style from Trump National Doral via Donald Trump’s private helicopter to get their race on at the Homestead Speedway. Participants represented one of two deserving charities with $20,000 on the line and $12,000 to go to the winner for either the Make-a-Wish Foundation or the Homestead Speedway charity – Drive for a Cause. In a battle for victory, Golf player Webb Simpson ended up winning with the fastest time of 6.784, winning $12,000 for the Homestead-Miami Speedway’s Drive for a Cause. The Make-A-Wish foundation also received a much appreciated $8,000.
