Miami Beach, FL – March 4, 2014 – It couldn’t have been a more perfect evening to party under the stars as Cadillac and the World Golf Championships-Cadillac Championship hosted their Opening Drive event in Miami Beach to officially kick off the tournament that will welcome the globe’s top 50 golfers to Trump National Doral resort March 5-9. A select group of guests – including pro players such as Rickie Fowler, Graeme McDowell, and Peter Uihlein, as well as Donald Trump, Ivanka Trump, Eric Trump, and Donald Trump Jr. – arrived via Cadillac Esclades to gather at the oceanfront Hyde Beach and enjoy music by the Miami Heat’s DJ Irie and cocktails courtesy of Grey Goose Vodka, the recently announced official spirit of the PGA Tour, a partnership that kicks off this week at the Cadillac Championship. Six time PGA Tour winner and official Grey Goose golf pro Matt Kuchar will also be on-site throughout the week competing for another title. The all new Cadillac CTS took center stage in the outdoor venue last night, offering guests a close-up look at the 2014 Motor Trend Car of the Year. Meanwhile, Grey Goose mixologist poured a 19th Hole cocktail for guests to enjoy. The 2014 Cadillac Championship brings the essence of Miami to life with food, fashion, music, celebrities and nightlife, including a Carolina Herrera fashion show hosted by Ivanka Trump on Friday, March 7, and a live concert performance by Gym Class Heroes frontman and solo star, Travie McCoy, on Saturday, March 8.
