New World Symphony 2014 – The Art of the Possible

Miami Beach, FL – February 8, 2014 –  Paying homage to the donors and patrons who help actualize the goals of the New World Symphony, the 2014 gala, titled “The Art of the Possible,” embodied all that goes into the success of The New World Symphony, America’s Orchestral Academy (NWS). Hosted by Gala Chairs Lisa and Jeffrey Akin, the annual blockbuster event featured performances by NWS co-founder and Artistic Director Michael Tilson Thomas, internationally renowned soprano Jessye Norman and Fellows of the New World Symphony.

Following the concert, guests were treated to a delectable dinner catered by A Thierry’s Catering and Event Design, the Center’s exclusive caterer in one of three themed rooms. The event design and production of the Gala was masterfully executed by Triton Productions. The evening was topped off with more live entertainment and dancing in the concert hall on the stage of the New World Center, a perfectly fitting conclusion to the night of celebration.
