Park City, UT – January 24, 2011 – Perfect Sense will be making its Sundance Film Festival debut tonight from 12:00 to 2:00 AM. Returning director, David Mackenzie (Spread in 2009) is back with a story about Susan (Eva Green), an epidemiologist, who reemerges from an affair gone sour and encounters a peculiar patient—a Glasgow truck driver who has experienced a sudden, uncontrollable crying fit. Now he is calm, but he has lost his sense of smell. Susan learns there are over 100 other cases in Scotland and Great Britain, with additional ones reported in France, Belgium, Italy, and Spain, and they all appeared in the last 24 hours. Although Susan’s encounter with Michael (Ewan McGregor), a local restaurant chef, holds the promise of new love, the world is about to change dramatically. People across the globe begin to suffer strange symptoms, affecting the emotions, then the senses. Perfect Sense is a magnetic romance/thriller that offers a deeply moving proposition about the way the human race might weather a global pandemic. The cast will be conducting interviews at the location from 3:00 to 5:00 PM.
