Miami Beach, FL – December 3, 2013 – Kicking off Art Basel Miami Beach slightly early this year, YoungArts and Visionaire presented the world premier of the 3D film installation A Portrait of Marina Abramovic at the YoungArts Campus. The film, created by artist Matthu Placek, was the highlight of the VIP Opening Night celebration, with screenings offered in the Jewel Box every 15 minutes, thanks to the generosity of the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, Rockefeller Brothers Fund, and Miami Downtown Development. Guests took in the art while sipping cocktails featuring St. Germaine, courtesy of Bacardi. The night marked a great start to a wonderful week packed with art.
