Zumba Fitness Party in Pink

Miami Beach, FL – October 5, 2013 – It was all about moving for the power of pink on October 5 at Lapis Spa at Fontainebleau when the spa hosted the Zumba Fitness Party in Pink. As part of Lapis Spa Wellness Series, dancers were encouraged to work out for a great cause: breast cancer research. As part of the Party in Pink charity campaign, which raises funds to fight breast cancer, locals and guests participated in a Pink Zumbathon, lead by Richard Gormley, the Canadian instructor and Zumba Education Specialist. Hips and booties were shakin’ it in honor of thinking pink. Afterward, guests got in on 50-minute spa treatments for only $109. The Lapis Spa Wellness series is a yearlong program that brings health and fitness to the spa. In the past it has featured yoga events, as well as boot camps. Next month, Susan Miller of AstrologyZone will return to the spa for “A Weekend With Susan Miller at Fontainebleau,” where she will look into what 2014 holds for guests.
