CU-1 Gallery & KIWI Arts Group Opening

Miami, FL – June 27, 2013 – Downtown Miami’s brand new gallery for contemporary European photography, CU-1 Gallery, had their inaugural exhibit launch party on Thursday night at the new space. Miami’s fashion and art lovers gathered to view Look At Me by Paul Solomons, who attended the party along with artist and CU-1 Gallery founder Roger Weber and the rest of the founding crew: Stephan Goettlicher, Bernd Mueller, and Marc Schmidt. The event ran in tandem with the opening of Kiwi Art Group’s Andy Warhol-dedicated exhibition, William John Kennedy: The Warhol Museum Edition portfolio. The collection of five photographs reveal a young Warhol on the cusp of fame, and was created to raise funds for The Andy Warhol Museum. Cocktails by Chambord Vodka, Herradura Tequila, and Perrier were passed along with light pizza bites from Pizzarium. There were even outdoor projections of the pieces illuminating the building’s exterior for a dynamic launch. Look At Me and William John Kennedy: The Warhol Museum Edition is on display now through August 23, 2013.
