Miami Beach, FL – November 30, 2010 – It was the 8^th year of Art Basel Miami Beach, and similar to the years before, it didn’t disappoint. Basel is the time of the year where you can just feel the energy in the air. Miami Beach transforms over night and becomes the epicenter of art, culture, and fashion for one week. Even if you don’t go to any of the exclusive parties, fabulous dinners, or gallery openings you can walk down any street and see the art all around. The most amazing things are everywhere in the city from – people, art in public places, performances and paintings, to music, and photographs. Celebrities, curators, gallerinas, socialites, collectors, fashionistas and artists alike gather here because Miami Beach is the perfect setting to let loose and express yourself. I have had some life changing experiences during Art Basel Miami Beach and it has become one of my favorite times of the year. Seeing the group of people that have been here since year one, who really started this cultural phenomenon is what makes it so special for me year after year. World Red Eye is looking forward to 2010, Art Basel Miami Beach’s 9^th year, which is already shaping up to look like the most exciting fair yet.
