New York, NY – May 7, 2013 – Last night specially selected media guests got transported to a futuristic experience with DIRECTV. As a way to introduce their 2013/2014 National Ad Sales Upfront program, DIRECTV held a party in New York City with the new Addressable Advertising platform that gives people the ads they want. Using special RFID technology, this revolutionary experience is tailored specifically to each guest where every touchpoint is based on the desires, personalities, and preferences of the attendees. The night added to these desires with appearances by New York Giants players Eli Manning and Hakeem Nicks, New York Jets player Nick Mangold, Sports Illustrated and DIRECTV’s model Hannah Davis, and a surprise DJ set by Calvin Harris.
