H&M Conscious Exclusive – Miami

Miami Beach, FL – April 4, 2013 – Environmentally-conscious fashionistas everywhere flocked to H&M yesterday for the launch of their most anticipated collection of the year: H&M Conscious Exclusive. For the collection’s grand debut, H&M hosted special events at four stores across the nation- one of them being right here in South Beach. Miami’s recently-opened Lincoln Road flagship is one of the select stores in the US carrying the collection, and one of the three that had celebrity shopping events yesterday evening. Shoppers lined up behind velvet ropes, waiting for the chance to get their hands on the latest fashionable pieces. 90210 actress Jessica Lowndes hosted the Miami event with DJ Jeffrey Tonnesen spinning all the jams.

The entire collection is made from reused or sustainable, organic materials, and if that wasn’t enough to take away the buyers remorse, everyone who came to the event was encouraged to bring their old party dresses and unused clothes for an additional 25 percent off. Lowndes snapped photos with shoppers who dropped their donations in the box, and browsed the collection with everyone for the first time, as she herself wore the black lace cocktail dress from the collection.
