Miami, FL – March 23, 2013 – Each day of Ultra just kept getting bigger and better, leaving everyone excited to see what would come next. Saturday marked the fifth day of the festival spanning two weekends and brought out lots of unimaginable surprises. The biggest shocker of all was when rock and roll legend Slash of Guns N’ Roses came on stage to rock out on his guitar during Chuckie‘s set at Main Stage. After that, Laidback Luke brought out Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike during his set to premier their new collaboration and encouraged everyone in the crowd to take off their shirts by setting the example and whirling them around their heads in the hot afternoon. Fatboy Slim took the main stage barefoot, as is his signature move, and we got in the DJ booth with Calvin Harris for a stellar set. Meanwhile, celebrities and VIPs like Paris Hilton and Michelle Rodriguez were hanging out backstage and in the Lavo • Tao • Marquee VIP Lounge where champagne was flowing. Benny Benassi had an explosive set that couldn’t get any hotter with fire shooting off the stage, David Guetta‘s crazy antics got the crowd jumping by night, and deadmau5 closed it all out on a high note.
