Miami, FL – April 10, 2025 – Rooted in Miami’s vibrant culture and curated with care, Jessie Boutique has been offering a fashion experience as personal as it is stylish for over 10 years.
Founded in 2004 by Jessie Uchuya, Jessie Boutique was born from a need for a more intimate and curated shopping experience—something Jessie herself longed for as a busy new mom. “There were no stores where you could shop in person that had a curated collection with personal one-on-one service,” Jessie shares. “As a busy working mom, I knew there was a huge need for this.”
What began as a single store in Aventura has since blossomed into a beloved brand with locations in Miami Beach, Delray, and Boca, plus a thriving online presence. Jessie’s deep ties to the city and her commitment to community shine through in every boutique, where she highlights local designers, supports women-owned and sustainable brands, and travels the fashion capitals of the world to handpick collections that speak directly to her clientele.
“As someone who was born and raised on Miami Beach, Jessie Boutique knows Miami style and culture better than any other store,” Jessie continues. “My family has been here since the early 1900s. As the buyer of my stores, I understand the client extremely well and have personal relationships with many of them.”
Jessie Boutique’s unmistakably personal touch sets the store apart—from free one-on-one styling to exclusive collaborations, like the upcoming Earth Day collection co-designed with her daughter and JBQ the Label.
“I pick the brands and styles based on the customers and the events happening in Miami.”
With the launch of a new flagship location featuring designer pop-ups, private events, and immersive shopping experiences, Jessie Boutique continues to redefine local luxury—proving that fashion, when done with heart, never goes out of style.

WRE: Why did you start Jessie Boutique, and how has it evolved over time?
Jessie Uchuya: I started Jessie in 2004 when my daughter was a year old. There were no stores where you could shop in person that had a curated collection with personal one-on-one service. As a busy working mom, I knew there was a huge need for this. I started first with my Aventura store and then expanded to Miami Beach, Delray, and Boca. I also created my online store in 2007.
WRE: How does Jessie Boutique show off Miami’s style and culture?
JU: Jessie Boutique knows Miami style and culture better than any other store because I was born and raised on Miami Beach, and my family has been here since the early 1900s. As the buyer of my stores, I understand the client extremely well and have personal relationships with many of them. I also make it a big point to support and incorporate local brands and designers in my stores.
WRE: How do you pick the brands and styles for the boutique?
JU: I pick the brands and styles based on the customers and the events happening in Miami. I travel to New York and Paris Fashion Week multiple times a year to hand-select new and upcoming designers, as well as work side by side with the designers I’ve had relationships with for the past twenty years. It is also very important to me to carry mostly women-owned brands, as well as brands that are sustainable.

WRE: What makes Jessie Boutique different from other fashion stores?
JU: Jessie Boutique is different from other stores because every single item in my stores is hand-selected by me. Also, since I have strong relationships with my vendors for over twenty years, I can acquire product that other stores may not be able to. I also do exclusive collections with my designers that we design together as a very special collaboration. For example, Maria and Sydney Strauss of JBQ the Label, alongside my daughter and me, designed an exclusive Earth Day collection that is 100 percent sustainable. It will be launching April 22nd. Jessie Boutique also offers one-on-one personal styling at no additional charge.

WRE: Do you offer personal styling or special events?
JU: Jessie Boutique offers free personal styling and many events yearly. We do trunk shows monthly to launch the new seasons and collections with our designers before the styles are available in other stores. We also do special events for holidays, including an upcoming event for Mother’s Day.

WRE: Can you tell us about the new store opening? What makes it special?
JU: My new store is my flagship location, which has designers and pop-ups that my other stores do not have. I have a dedicated section for these special activations. We will also be hosting personal lunches and dinners in the store with private shopping events for our customers.
