Miami Beach, FL – November 4, 2010 – JW Marriott Marquis Miami celebrated the grand opening event of the property which is the first Marquis in the JW Marriott portfolio. The evening kicked off with an exclusive cocktail party at db Bistro Moderne with Daniel Boulud. The celebration then continued at the hotel’s 19^th floor entertainment & lifestyle complex. Celebrities, athletes and local influencers competed in a series of fun and interactive games; such as a basketball competition refereed by NBA hall-of-famer, Tim Hardaway. DJ Irie MC’ed the evening, guests were treated to a multimedia live painting performance by renowned artist David LeBatard (LEBO) and cocktails provided by Grey Goose Vodka. The event brought out many celebrity guests including A-Rod, Brooke Shields, Angie Harmon & Jason Sehorn, Anna Kournikova, Brandon Marshall, Elio Casanova, and Alexis Thompson.
