Miami, FL – February 23, 2013 – The South Beach Wine and Food Festival took dining to the diamond on Saturday night with Creekstone Farms presents Delta Diamond Dishes Dinner:  A League of Their Own. Food Network‘s Anne Burrell was special guest manager as five award-winning female chefs came out to play ball at Marlins Park. The line-up had one of Miami’s favorite chefs Michelle Bernstein alongside Top Chef winner Stephanie Izard, British chef April Bloomfield of The Spotted Pig in NYC, Naomi Pomeroy of BEAST Restaurant in Portland, and Jeni Britton Bauer of Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams all serving up their home run dishes. Musical dynamic duo The Dolls, made up of DJ Mia Moretti and electric violinist Caitlin Moe, performed on the field while everyone got their grub on. Miami Marlins owner Jeffrey Loria and his wife, Julie Loria, hosted the opening reception at the park’s Clevelander outpost. Proceeds from ticket sales for the evening went to benefit the relief efforts from New York City’s Hurricane Sandy.
