Los Angeles, CA – February 15-17, 2013 – The Zumba® Instructor Conference was an action-packed, fun-filled weekend of fitness. From Friday through Sunday, Zumba instructors got up bright and early each morning to attend trainings, learning capsules, flavors, and boosts, so that they could go back with tons of new techniques and routines to keep their dance classes fresh. Things didn’t come to a close each day until late at night, with Lil Jon even DJing the Saturday night theme party which kept everyone dancing until the clock struck midnight.

Los Angeles, CA – February 15, 2013 – During the conference, Zumba’s co-founder, Beto Perez, led an exclusive Zumba Sentao™ class. Sentao is Zumba’s newest specialty class that takes a chair and makes it into a sizzling dance partner helping to balance, strengthen and stabilize your core for a total-body workout. Miami Heat forward Mike Miller came to the class, along with actress Frances Fisher, as they got quite a workout from their stationary chair partners.

Los Angeles, CA – February 16, 2013 – Saturday night’s theme party was something that got everyone excited and involved because, who doesn’t love to dress up and dance? Rapper, producer and international DJ Lil Jon and Zumba Celebrity Instructor Gina Grant gave 3,000-plus Zumba instructors a taste of the soon-to-be announced first-ever Zumba Nightclub Series experience during the Zumba Instructor Network (ZIN™) costume-theme party at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Zumba’s co-founder Beto Perez sported two costumes for the party- one behind the turntables and one on stage with the crowd- while musicians Mara, J Perry, Dario and DJ Francis kept the music going well into the late night.
