Miami Beach, FL – November 30, 2024 – Avant Gallery has emerged as a transformative force in the contemporary art landscape since its inception in 2007, championing a diverse array of visionary artists that include both esteemed figures and emerging talents.
In its new flagship space at the iconic 1111 Lincoln Road building in Miami Beach, designed by Herzog & de Meuron, Avant Gallery invites the public to engage with meticulously curated exhibitions inspired by the dynamic atmosphere of art fairs, reflecting the vibrancy and richness of today’s artistic expression.
“Miami Beach is a global cultural crossroads where art, design, and luxury real estate intersect,” shares Avant Gallery Founder Dmitry Prut. “The vibrant energy and international clientele perfectly align with Avant’s mission to inspire by elevating the notion of aesthetics for the home.” Expanding its vision, Avant also introduces Avant Home at its Aventura Mall location, offering discerning consumers a unique opportunity to explore iconic high-end furnishings. This sister concept redefines luxury accessibility, creating a harmonious blend of art and design that enhances the living experience.

WRE: How does Avant Gallery curate exhibitions, and what themes or artistic movements are currently being explored in the Miami Beach space?
DP: Our program is fueled by a commitment to bold narratives, with this particular space embodying the dynamic energy of an art fair—what’s become a hallmark of our approach. This inaugural exhibition unfolds through a series of curated feature presentations, each showcasing exceptional talent.
Marcos Anziani, a rising star in abstraction, brings new works following two group exhibitions at the Norton Museum. Victoria Ledig explores the essence of female energy with powerful depictions, such as those of lactating mothers. Miami-born Gabriela Noelle adds youthfulness with her child-like multidisciplinary creations, celebrated internationally as well as locally through projects with institutions like the ICA and the Bass Museum here in Miami.
Jon Koehler presents his signature word totem sculptures—stainless steel works inspired by the buoyant aesthetics of mylar balloons—ahead of his upcoming participation at the Norton Museum. Brandusa Niro, a fashion media trailblazer, shares her compelling paintings of models, while Chase Lock debuts his richly textured, expressionist canvases, marking an exciting breakout moment. We’re also once again unveiling an official AI art series, this time in partnership with the Albert Einstein Archives and pioneering AI artist, Paul Parsons. Together, these voices define a vibrant and ambitious chapter for Avant.
WRE: How does Avant Gallery engage with its clientele beyond gallery visits? Are there events, VIP experiences, or collaborations that help build deeper relationships with collectors?
DP: Beyond the gallery walls, we create engaging experiences—private viewings, bespoke events, and exclusive collaborations with like-minded brands. It’s about cultivating meaningful relationships and connecting collectors to the stories behind the art.
WRE: Can you share some memorable moments or exhibitions from the gallery’s history that you believe have had a significant impact on its success?
DP: Since Avant‘s opening in 2007, every exhibition has marked a significant milestone. However, synergies with venues like the iconic Herzog & de Meuron-designed 1111 Lincoln Road and the debut of groundbreaking works by emerging artists have been instrumental in defining our identity as a dynamic and distinguished presence in the art world.
