WRE News: Major Food Group’s CARBONE VINO Set to Open at the Mayfair Coconut Grove

Miami, FL – November 15, 2024 – Miami’s dining scene is about to get even hotter: Opening this December in Coconut Grove, VINO will be Major Food Group’s latest venture, marking the second MFG location to join the neighborhood after Sadelle’s opened back in 2021.

The new member of the CARBONE family takes its cues from the legendary enotecas of Italy with extraordinary wine and cuisine that are essential to the fabric of their cities. At VINO, an expertly crafted selection of new dishes celebrates the craftsmanship and conviviality of Italian culinary tradition, alongside CARBONE’s famous signatures and a remarkable beverage program featuring wines by the glass that are typically available only by the bottle.

Complementing the menu, VINO’s extensive inventory of over 600 selections will focus on Italian and global wines, including rarities like Barolo and Saint Aubin.

Designed to embrace the area’s relaxed yet upscale atmosphere, the space features rich wood accents, velvet drapes, and a lively bar area, offering a more approachable experience with room for walk-ins and bar seating. The restaurant aims to blend the classic with the innovative, catering to Miami’s upscale clientele while also pushing culinary boundaries under the direction of Chef Mario Carbone, who enjoys experimenting beyond the classics.
