Jazz Roots Sarah Vaughan A Sassy Centennial Post Show Reception

Miami, FL – November 3, 2024 – Donors of both the Arsht Center and Frost School of Music celebrated the kickoff of the Arsht’s Jazz Roots series with a special post-concert reception with the artists featured in the show. The Jazz Roots season kicked off with a celebration of legendary jazz vocalist Sarah Vaughan, with a star-studded cast of artists including Patti Austin, Lisa Fischer, Randy Brecker, Tyreek McDole and the Frost School’s Henry Mancini Institute Orchestra, led by Shelly Berg, Jazz Roots artistic advisor and dean of the Frost School of Music. The season continues in February with Chucho Valdes Royal Quartet on February 7.
