Miami, FL – October 22, 2024 – Inter Miami CF has secured a spot in the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 after a historic 2024 season.
Following their victory in the Major League Soccer Supporters’ Shield, Inter Miami is confirmed as the host team for the tournament, having topped the league with 74 points and breaking the MLS record for the most points in a single season.
FIFA President Gianni Infantino announced the news, praising Inter Miami’s remarkable success and their exciting brand of football. With 31 of the 32 teams now confirmed, the competition is set to feature the best clubs from across the globe, offering a unique stage for world-class football.
Led by Leo Messi, the club will kick off the prestigious tournament in their hometown of Miami in June 2025.
