WRE News: Miami Heat to Rename Court in Honor of Pat Riley Ahead of New NBA Season

Miami, FL – October 9, 2024 – Miami HEAT are paying a huge tribute to basketball legend Pat Riley by renaming their home court at Kaseya Center to “Pat Riley Court.”

The court dedication will be officially unveiled on October 23 when Miami hosts the Orlando Magic, celebrating Riley’s lasting impact on both the franchise and the city.

In his 30th season with the team, Riley has been a monumental figure in Miami’s success, leading the Heat to three championships—one as a coach and two as an executive. Riley now joins NBA great Red Auerbach as one of only two coaches to have a court named in their honor, solidifying his legacy in the game.
