Miami, FL – October 6, 2024 – Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross is in talks to sell a limited stake in the team, the Hard Rock Stadium, and the F1 Miami for a staggering $8.1 billion.
Ross is negotiating with private equity firm Ares Management and billionaire Joseph Tsai, with Ares aiming for a 10% share and Tsai seeking 3%. If the deal proceeds, it would push the Dolphins’ valuation above several other NFL teams, making them the second most valuable franchise behind the Dallas Cowboys.
Ross, at 84, has been planning for his legacy, previously stating that he intends to leave his ownership stake to his daughters.
