The firm, known for investments in companies like Facebook and Airbnb, ended its five-year lease after just two years due to low employee attendance. While Miami saw an influx of tech companies during the pandemic, the city’s status as a tech hub has struggled, especially following the 2022 crypto crash.

Andreessen Horowitz’s former space will now be occupied by contact lens manufacturer Bausch + Lomb.
