Miami, FL – February 4, 2013 – On Monday, Lamborghini closed down most of Miami’s streets to debut the Aventador Roadster. Police blocked off the streets and highways so 13 brand-new Lamborghini models could parade through the city. The convoy, worth over six million dollars, started on South Beach, took the 395 to 95 to the 195, stopped for lunch (and refueling) at the SLS hotel, and then proceeded to Miami International Airport, where a runway had been cleared for a series of high-speed runs. There aren’t many companies where the boss leads by personal example, but Lamborghini is a different kind of company. The first Aventador down the runway was piloted by CEO Stephan Winklemann himself.
