Miami, FL – July 31, 2024 – Miami’s rapid growth marks it as one of the fastest growing big cities in the U.S.

Between July 2022 and July 2023, Miami’s population increased by 1.3%, making it the tenth fastest growing big city with a population above 250,000, according to Census data analyzed by Axios. As of July 2023, Miami’s population reached 455,924, contributing to the wider Miami metro area’s population of 6.1 million as of 2022.
