nightLAB: Space Odyssey at Frost Science Museum

Miami, FL – July 19, 2024 – Nearly 1,000 people attended nightLAB: Space Odyssey, the third volume of an event series exclusively for adults (21+) at the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science (Frost Science) in Downtown Miami. Throughout this exciting space-themed night, guests enjoyed exploring the museum, including the new special exhibition, Journey to Space, participated in science activations with Frost Science educators and tried freeze-dried food courtesy of OrbiFood. They also engaged with community partners including the Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden’s Growing Beyond Earth project, Headcount Miami and astrophysicist Dr. James R. Webb from the Florida International University College of Arts, Sciences & Education. The event featured special live performances by Skyview and space-inspired laser rock shows in the Frost Planetarium, as well as special presentations by former NASA food scientist Vickie Kloeris. Guests danced to the Miami-inspired sounds of DJ AYDAMN and enjoyed elevated refreshments and light bites by Constellation Culinary Group.
