Hamptons, NY – July 13, 2024 – Brandusa Niro, Founder & Editor-in-chief of The Daily Front Row debuted her ‘Models’ series of paintings with her exclusive gallery Avant Gallery.
The worlds of art and fashion converged for The Daily Front Row’s art dinner out East. Held at waterfront restaurant Sunset Harbor, the chic affair was hosted by editor-in-chief Brandusa Niro and the Daily Summer‘s new cover girl, Brooks Nader.
During the event, guests were surrounded by the colorful gazes of Niro’s model series of paintings. The artwork display, on loan from Miami’s Avant Gallery, also overlapped with the weekend’s popular Hamptons Fine Art Fair—which featured a range of new art from creatives across the country. Attendees included Rebecca Minkoff, Dmitry Prut, Kelly Bensimom, Fern Mallis, Alejandra Alonso Rojas, Sophie Elgort, and Jeffrey Banks.
Brandusa’s newest series of twenty-three acrylic paintings entitled ‘Models’ – her inspiration pays homage to the extraordinary women who have graced Niro’s life and career. With each portraits’ brushstroke, Niro conjures visions of ethereal beauty, infusing her canvases with a great use of bright colors and evoking a range of emotions and moods. A blend of realism and impressionism, Brandusa’s muses are elongated and graceful with luminous eyes that pierce the soul, while their oversized heads and unfinished hands imbue them with an otherworldly allure. The ‘Models’ series evokes senses of sexiness and sensuality yet an eerie, almost haunting, quality, inviting viewers to contemplate the transient nature of beauty itself.
