“Wine Women & Shoes” at the Rubell Museum

Miami, FL – April 30, 2024 – Wine Women & Shoes benefitting Breakthrough Miami welcomed more than 300 of Miami’s influential, fashion-savvy, and community-minded women to the Rubell Museum Miami for a captivating fashion and philanthropy experience to advance and expand Breakthrough’s mission and impact. Amidst the spectacular Rubell galleries and event space, guests were greeted with an illustrious wine tasting, luxury shopping experience, and a highly anticipated fashion show with featured partner Missoni. The event program included an emotionally moving mini-documentary and dance performance by Breakthrough Miami Scholar, Teaching Fellow, and graduating senior, Jamar Howard. This year’s event was created as a DREAMSCAPE of possibility and potential, galvanizing the spirit and energy of women to ensure young people with limitless potential have the OPPORTUNITY TO DREAM. Proceeds benefit Breakthrough Miami’s award-winning 8-year tuition-free academic and social enrichment program for young people striving for educational opportunities.
