Trynco End of Tech Month Celebration Hosted by Miami Bay Waterfront Midtown Residences & United Property Management

Miami, FL – April 30, 2024 – The culmination of Miami Tech month was marked by a lively meet and greet event hosted by United Property Management and Miami Bay Waterfront Midtown Residences, both Milton Family Companies. Family patriarch, José Milton, a Cuban immigrant of Lebanese descent and the entrepreneurial force behind this real estate empire, and his family have significantly impacted the community through philanthropic endeavors with the José Milton Foundation and the creation of job opportunities and housing in South Florida.

Trynco was delighted to have the support of the Milton Family Companies for the end of Miami Tech Month celebration, showcasing a shared vision with Ana VeigaMilton, President of the José Milton Foundation, in improving the quality of life in South Florida through education, research, technology, and access to healthcare.

The event brought together guests from José Milton & Associates, the José Milton Foundation, Miami business leaders, government officials, and tech enthusiasts to commemorate the successful conclusion of Miami Tech Month. Alec Milton, representing the Milton Family, and notable guests from various organizations such as the Miami-Dade County Innovation Authority, Hospital Corporation of Americas, Chapman Partners, several venture capital firms, angel investors, investment banks, Miami tech companies, and other key industry players, graced the gathering.

Amila Karunaratne, founder & CEO of Trynco, a non-profit dedicated to advancing emerging technologies, led the organization’s efforts in hosting 31 events in 2023, its inaugural year, attracting over 3,400 attendees across major tech hubs in the USA. The organization’s commitment to fostering tech communities through initiatives like tech panels, hackathons, pitch competitions, and tech meetups was evident in its impactful work.

Set against the backdrop of the picturesque Miami Bay Waterfront Midtown Residences, a rental community proudly part of the prestigious Milton Family Companies collection, the event boasted a delightful array of gourmet cuisine and canapés, complemented by wines, generously sponsored by the Milton Family Companies. Guests were also treated to a selection of beverages from sponsors E11EVEN Vodka, Strega, and Hello Gorgeous, as the sounds of a well known local DJ added to the vibrant and celebratory atmosphere of the gathering.
