Hollywood, FL – April 7, 2024 – Twenty of South Florida’s finest culinary chefs treated a sold-out audience to an epicurean extravaganza on Sunday, April 7th at The Diplomat Beach Resort Hollywood. Out of the Kitchen – South Florida, Presented by Nathan J. Esformes Foundation, was chaired by Tammy & Steven Klein and Carly & Danielle Klein, and Honorary Chair Andria Ares Holtz. Guests started their evening with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres including a seafood display provided by the hotel. A three-course meal presented tableside by some of South Florida’s top talent was the main attraction, and a lavish dessert buffet concluded the experience! Emcee Nicole Lopez-Alvar, Food Editor for Miami New Times, conducted the program and shared the stage with various guests including Diabetes Research Institute Foundation CEO, Michael Burton, and DRI Scientific Director, Dr. Matthias von Herrath. $400,000 was raised benefiting the Diabetes Research Institute at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
