Known by many as one of the minds behind Major Food Group’s luxurious concepts, including Contessa Ristorante, Dirty French, and the recently opened Chateau ZZ’s, Mario Carbone is a Michelin-starred and James Beard-nominated chef with a culinary journey that includes training under luminaries like Daniel Boulud, Wylie Dufresne, and Mark Ladner. For the supper, Chef Carbone prepared an extraordinary menu that paid homage to the great Italian-American restaurants of the mid-century.
