Q&A: Dive Into The Curio x Devon Windsor Spring Collection

WRE: As Co-Founder of CURIO, what do you think sets Devon Windsor’s designs apart and makes them a perfect fit for the CURIO shopping experience?

WRE: Can you give us a sneak peek into what shoppers can expect when exploring the new Swimwear Pop-up shop at CURIO during this event?

DL: The Swimwear Room at CURIO at Faena Bazaar opened just a month ago and is already off to a fabulous start. Devon, as a Miami native and one of our most successful brands at CURIO in past seasons, is the ideal launch partner. Shoppers are thrilled with the opportunity to view all the swim products in this new dedicated space. Throughout the season, we will feature a strong rotation of top-performing brands, making it the perfect destination to find a wide variety of swimwear and après swim gear under one roof.

WRE:  Devon, could you share with us the inspiration behind your new collection?

Devon Windsor: I find inspiration everywhere I go, this season we shot the collection in St. Barths, One of my favorite islands. It’s charming yet sophisticated. Lots of pops of color with the neutral undertones.

WRE:  Tell us a bit about your decision to bring Devon Windsor’s Spring Collection to CURIO at Faena Bazaar.

DW: The Faena is a staple here in Miami, and as a local brand, what better way to showcase the new collection than here? We sought a space where we could connect with both new and old friends and share our latest pieces!

WRE: Share with us some of your favorite pieces or must-have items from this new collection?

DW: This season, we’re introducing our very first cut and sew items, such as our new Odette and Ollie pants, which I’m incredibly excited about.

WRE:  Miami is renowned for its colorful fashion scene. Did the city influence the design elements of your new collection at all? 

DW: I’m continually inspired by my surroundings, especially living in Miami. I’m attuned to the fashion preferences of the locals here. Miami’s international flair, with its diverse population, is something I deeply appreciate and consider in my designs.
