Miami, FL – January 19, 2024 – In a major development, MSC Group has unveiled plans for a $100 million investment in a new headquarters located in the upcoming Block 55 complex in Overtown.

This state-of-the-art office, spanning 130,000 square feet, is set to house approximately 250 employees at 249 NW 6th St and will serve as the base for three key divisions: MSC Cargo, MSC Cruises, and the recently launched Explora Journeys. Among these divisions, MSC  Cargo is already rooted in Miami-Dade, while MSC Cruises Official currently operates from Fort Lauderdale. Block 55, which commenced construction in June 2021 and reached its pinnacle in June 2023, not only offers premium office space but also encompasses 578 senior-targeted apartments and multiple retail levels featuring popular stores such as Target, Aldi, Ross Dress for Less, and Burlington. As part of their broader strategic initiatives, MSC Group is concurrently working on a cutting-edge cruise terminal at PortMiami, set to be the largest in North America upon completion later this year. The terminal boasts the capability to accommodate three latest-generation ships simultaneously, with a remarkable daily passenger movement capacity of 36,000.
