Miami, FL – December 1, 2023 – Embark on an enticing journey into the world of human sexuality as the Museum of Sex Miami unveiled an exclusive preview for VIP guests on Friday night, gearing up for its public opening in January 2024.  Nestled in Allapattah, this 32,000 square foot space, designed in collaboration with Snohetta, draws inspiration from the success of its New York City flagship over the past 21 years.

Attendees were treated to a tantalizing sneak peek of the inaugural exhibition programming, featuring the likes of Hajime Sorayama “Desire Machines,” the historical survey “Modern Sex: 100 Years of Design and Decency,” and the immersive experience “Super Funland: Journey into the Erotic Carnival.” Amidst the event’s eccentricities were specialty cocktails with NSFW names, enchanting mermaid performances in Super Funland’s 40-foot mermaid tank “Merlandia,” and the pulsating beats of Charlie Soul Clap—all beneath the watchful gaze of a colossal sculpture of the “50-foot woman” presiding majestically over the space.
