Following the successful topping-off of 72 Park in September, a 22-story condominium at 580 72nd Street, the real estate developer is gearing up for their next venture, 72B. Acquiring the 0.1-acre plot for 72B in 2018 at a cost of $2.3 million, Lefferts has strategically positioned itself to contribute significantly to the neighborhood’s growth. Following the Design Review Board’s approval, Lefferts has stated they envision the 239,424 square-foot tower as a catalyst for a fresh residential experience in North Beach. Groundbreaking is slated for the summer of 2024 and completion expected in 2027.
