WRE News: SHVO gains Unanimous Approval for The Alton in Miami Beach

Miami Beach, FL – September 30, 2023 – New York-based Shvo has secured unanimous approval from the Miami Beach Planning Board for The Alton, a groundbreaking project set to redefine the luxury workspace landscape. Designed by renowned architect Official Norman Foster in collaboration with Kobi Karp, this six-story biophilic building will boast 170,000 square feet of office space, 17,000 square feet of retail, and five luxury residences. Located at the vibrant intersection of Alton Road and @lincolnrd shopping district, it promises to blend nature, art, and architecture seamlessly. SHVO’s Chairman and CEO, Michael Shvo, expressed pride in curating exceptional environments and assembling visionaries like Norman Foster for this mission. The Alton is part of SHVO’s $2 billion investment in Miami Beach, alongside other Class-A office properties and the restoration of The Raleigh. The final approval vote by Miami Beach’s Design Review Board is expected in October, with construction set to begin in early 2024, should it pass.
