Miami, FL – September 13, 2023 – Pamm has announced the launch of PAMMTV — a groundbreaking streaming service featuring a curated selection of video art and films from both local and international artists. The innovative platform, available for free on web browsers, mobile devices, and Apple TV (requiring a free account for access) on September 14th, marks the museum’s foray into the digital realm, aimed at engaging broader audiences while spotlighting talented artists. PAMMTV’s offerings will continually evolve, with fresh video art introduced every few months to provide viewers with glimpses into the museum’s extensive collection. The initiative strives to blend the user-friendly experience of Netflix with the intimacy of exploring a museum gallery, according to Jay Mollica, PAMM’s Director of Digital Engagement. The streaming platform aims to democratize access to video art, featuring boundary-pushing works from South Florida, the Caribbean, Latin America, and the African diaspora, often overlooked by traditional histories.
