Miami, FL – September 9, 2023 – Museum of Graffiti opened “TRANSPARENT,” a solo exhibition by Shanghai-based artist Vance DNA, on September 9, 2023. Born in China in 1990, Vance DNA’s artistic journey began with landscape painting lessons and was later influenced by his love for American rap music and break dancing, leading him to explore graffiti art. His unique blend of traditional painting techniques and contemporary influences resulted in large-scale hyper-realistic murals and oil paintings characterized by light and shadow, Western animation, and a fascination with materials like glass and ice. “TRANSPARENT” showcases transparent figures conveying a message of authenticity and self-reflection, reflecting Vance’s multifaceted talents and global recognition. The exhibition is praised for its ability to resonate with human authenticity and introspection, inviting visitors to experience Vance DNA’s innovative art at the Museum of Graffiti. The exhibition is presented by Crown Royal.
