Miami, FL – August 3, 2023 – Miami hospitality magnate Roman Jones has announced plans to introduce three new restaurants to the city’s growing River District.
With the signing of a ground lease at 452 Northwest North River Drive, Jones’ visionary aspirations take shape. His latest venture, Habibi, a Middle Eastern culinary haven, is slated to open this fall, strategically located across from Kiki on The River.
Jones also plans a remarkable transformation of the historic Captain Tom’s riverfront restaurant from the 1930s. The endeavor will give rise to an opulent Italian dining establishment spread across a generous expanse of over 20,000 sq feet. Additionally, Jones has acquired a lease for Crust’s location at 668 Northwest Fifth Street, a strategic move after acquiring the Crust business and brand.
As part of Jones’ ventures, a $5 million acquisition of the Hernandez Body Shop lot at 666 Northwest Sixth Street sets the stage for an enticing Spanish seafood restaurant.
While the final concepts for these properties remain under wraps, anticipation runs high within Miami’s food-loving community
