Miami, FL – June 4, 2023 – The Arsht Center’s free LGBTQ+ Pride celebration, CommuniTea Dance, returned for its sixth year on Sunday, June 4. The event was hosted by She-J Hercules of 99JAMZ and featured tunes by Deejay Smeejay, a vendor marketplace, drag performances by Kahtya Tehnsion and a rousing headlining performance by Martha Wash, the original Weather Girl, platinum-selling recording artist and two-time Grammy Award nominee. Wash delighted fans with her megawatt hits including “You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real),” “It’s Raining Men,” “Everybody Everybody” and C+C Music Factory’s “Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now).”
