ReSist at Green Space Miami with Ayikodans

Miami, FL – May 28, 2023 – Haiti’s premiere dance company Ayikodans wrapped up a weeklong residency at the Adrienne Arsht Center with an intimate performance at Green Space Miami on Sunday, May 28. Led by Artistic Director Jeanguy Saintus, the company performed a variety of works exploring the different shapes and realities of Haiti and Haitian culture. The company’s Arsht Center residency featured a series of dance workshops for the community as they develop new work for a world premiere production at the Arsht Center next year. The intimate evening marked the Miami return of the company presented by the Adrienne Arsht Center with generous support by the Green Family Foundation Trust.
