WRE News: Miami Unemployment Rate is the Lowest Nationwide at 1.7%

Miami, FL – April 29, 2023 – Miami clocks in with the nation’s lowest unemployment rate.

According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, metropolitan Miami’s unemployment takes the prize as the lowest nationwide, at just 1.7% in February 2023.

The entire South Florida trifecta of Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach all made the list, with a collective unemployment rate of 2.2%. Impressively, Miami, Miami Beach, and Kendall enjoyed the third largest increase in employment in February, up 4.4%, right behind Dallas-Plano-Irving and Fort Worth.
