WRE News: Miami’s Housing Market Still Hottest in the Country

Miami, FL – April 21, 2023 – Americans can’t get enough of that South Florida sunshine! Despite higher mortgage rates dragging down housing prices in other parts of the country, Miami’s persistent demand continues to fuel its ascent, with the median home prices in Miami-Dade County rising 5.2% during the first quarter of 2023 compared to last year. And as Florida gained more residents than any other state in 2022, Miami’s housing inventory alone is down by about half compared with the first quarter of 2020.
