WRE News: Diplomat Beach Resort Sells for $835M

Miami Beach, FL – February 7, 2023 – The Diplomat Beach Resort sold for $835 million on Monday, according to a release from brokerage firm JLL. Credit Suisse Group and Trinity Investments acquired the property at 3555 S. Ocean Dr. from Brookfield Asset Management, co-owner of the Miami Design District outdoor mall. The selling the Diplomat marks the biggest deal for a U.S. hotel since the start of the pandemic.
